Woven Threads

I made this card while on vacation. A dear friend lost a family member this week, so I was glad I had stamping supplies with me to create a sympathy card for her.I used the Woven Heirlooms and Daisy Lane stamp sets.I used Seaside Spray cardstock for the card base. I stamped the base using Seaside Spray ink as well as stamping 4 daisies on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I punched the daisies out using the Medium Daisy Punch. I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray Scalloped Ribbon around a strip of Woven Threads DSP and adhered it to the card base. I doubled up the daisies to make them look fuller using Mini Glue Dots, and then placed a small Gold Faceted Gem in the center. I adhered them to the card using Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment in Black Memento on a small strip of Whisper White cardstock. I sponged the outer edges of the sentiment in Seaside Spray ink, then adhered it to the card using dimensionals. I used Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment on the inside Whisper White Mat.

Daisy Lane Notecard

20190705_1544141835959229.jpg

The Stampin’ Up Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes are great for making quick notecards! I used the Daisy Lane stamp set with a couple of the Daisy punches to make this cute notecard. This was a free make ‘n take that I offered at my New Catalog Launch Party last weekend. I thought I’d share how to make it for those that couldn’t make it to the party! Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner of the card mat using black memento ink. Stamp two fern images in the center of the card mat using granny apple green ink, as well as a few splatters using melon mango ink!

20190705_154339456487872.jpg

Stamp 1 large daisy and 2 medium sized daisies using melon mambo ink on a scrap piece of whisper white cardstock. Punch out the large daisy using the Daisy punch and the 2 smaller daisies using the Medium Daisy punch. Attach the daisies to each other and then to the card mat using mini glue dots. Stagger them slightly as you assembly them to give the daisy a fuller look, then slightly bend up a few of the petals. Place a gold faceted gem in the center of the flowers.

The whisper white mat was mounted on a melon mambo mat, which was then mounted on the notecard base. Such a cute and quick notecard! See supply list and cutting measurements below!
