These Scalloped Note Cards are great for making quick cards! They come in a pack of 20 note card with envelopes, 5 each of 4 colors: Terracotta Tile, Balmy Blue, Powder Pink, and Old Olive. They are a great buy for $20! All of the products that I used will be at the bottom of each post.
For my last Note Card n this series, I used the Old Olive note card as a base, and the Stampin’ Up! Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set, along with the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper.
I punched both ends of a 2″ x 4-1/4″ strip of Mosaic Mood DSP using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. I adhered a 1/2″ x 5″ strip to the bottom edge of the inside of the card so that you could see it behind the scalloped edge. I stamped the “You Made My Day” onto a 2″ square piece of Whisper White cardstock and colored the image using Watercolor Pencils. I adhered the stamped image to the center of the punched DSP strip, then adhered the tag to the center of the card using dimensionals. I took a long piece of Whisper White twine, doubled it in half, slipped it through the left hole of the punched tag and made a slip knot. Then wrapped the doubled thread around the inside of the card bringing it back to the front on the right side, and slipped it through the right hole of the punched tag, and tied a bow. I used a White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to make little dots on the scalloped edge to make it look like lace and made random dots around the card to create a little background! Then I added a couple of Rhinestones for a bit of bling.
