Happy New Year and Welcome 2020!
I have a New Years card that I made and would like to share with you today.
I used 2 stamp sets to make it, “Cheers to That” and “Sip Sip Hooray”. Both of these stamps are retiring so if you like them you’ll have to purchase before the end of the day tomorrow (Jan 2nd)!
I started with a Gray Granite Card Base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4). I embossed my Gray Granite card mat (4 x 5 1/4) using the Stylish Scroll embossing folder (also retiring) and adhered it to my card base. Next on a piece of Whisper White (3 x 4) I stamped the champagne glasses using black Memento ink then stamped the hint of champagne and bubbles in So Saffron Ink. I went over them slightly using Wink of Stella to give them a little shimmer, however it’s very hard to see it in my photos. I mounted my stamped image on a piece of Basic Black (3 1/4 x 4 1/4) and adhered it to the card front. I took a strip of Basic Black (1 x 3 3/4) and clipped each end of the strip using the Everyday Label Punch. I stamped the sentiments using Versamark Ink then applied Silver Embossing Powder and Heat set the powder until it was shiny!
I looped some Silver Metallic thread behind the sentiment and adhered it to the card with Dimensionals. Lastly I added a couple of Rhinestones to each end of the sentiment.
