Thoughtful Blooms and Sending You Thoughts! Stampin’ Up!

For today’s card I used two stamp sets and a punch you can earn for FREE when you purchase Stampin’ Up product during Sale-A-Bration!!
The sentiment is from “Sending You Thoughts” stamp set and the flowers, vines, and leaves are from the “Thoughtful Blooms” stamp set. The two blossoms were punched out using the Small Bloom Punch!!

I started with a Highland Heather card base measuring 11 x 4 1/4 (scored at 5 1/2). I layered a Yellow Diagonal Stripe 2 x 5 piece of Best Dressed designer series paper onto a 2 1/4 x 5 1/4 piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I adhered this to the left side of the card base using my Snail adhesive.
I took a 3 x 4 piece of Whisper White and stamped the flowers, vines, and leaves using Old Olive, So Safron, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather ink. I stamped the vines randomly, then filled in the white areas with the different flowers and dots. I layered it onto a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. Then I adhered a 3/4 x 3 1/4 strip of Gorgeous Grape cardstock across the center and tied a piece of striped Gorgeous Grape Ribbon around it. I took the stamped piece adhered it to the card using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on a 3/4 x 1 1/4 piece of Whisper White using Gorgeous Grape ink. I layered that onto a 1 x 1 1/2 piece of Gorgeous Grape, then added that on top of the ribbon using Dimensionals. I stamped 2 blossoms using Highland Heather on a scrap piece of Whisper White, then punched them out using the Small Bloom Punch and added them to card using Mini Dimensionals! I decorated them with a couple of Purple Rhinestones from the Nobel Peacock Rhinestones set!

Peaceful Poppy Elements ~ Stampin’ Up!

If you haven’t seen these Peaceful Poppy Elements, check them out HERE or on Page 25 of the new mini catalog! They are such a great item but I think they go unnoticed. All of the Peaceful Poppy Elements are pre-cut, pre-embossed, and pre-printed. All I had to do was punch them out! Here’s a card I made using them….

20200301_183907664139573.jpg

I started with a Poppy Parade card base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (scored at 4 1/4). I stamped the large poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set using Poppy Parade ink onto the card base. Since it’s the same color it’s a very subtle effect, but unfortunately it doesn’t really show up that well in this photo. I layered a 3 1/2 square of Poppy Parade designer series paper onto a 3 3/4 square of Old Olive cardstock, then adhered these to the center of the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto a 2″ circle of Whisper White using black memento ink. Then I layered the sentiment on a Black circle element and a Black banner element using dimensionals. The bunch of flowers printed on vellum element was added using a couple of mini glue dots. I finished it off with one of the pre-printed Poppies element! Such a quick card with most of the work done for me!

Happy Valentine’s Day ~ Stampin’ Up!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here’s a card for  you!   ;o)
For this card I used 2 colors, Real Red and Flirty Flamingo!
I started with a Flirty Flamingo card base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 (I call this size a card mat!) and stamped the small heart from the “Heartfelt” stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped some of the hearts with the ink full strength, and some I stamped off some of the ink on a piece of scrap paper before stamping it on the Whisper White mat. This way I have small hearts in multiple shades! (This is a great way to get more shades using the same ink pad). Then I adhered a 2 x 4 piece of the “From My Heart” Designer Series Paper on the left side of the Whisper White mat. I tied a piece of the “Real Red Satin Ribbon” around the mat then adhered it to the card base.

Next up I stamped the “Solid Heart with the Sentiment” in Real Red ink on a scrap of Whisper White. I punched it out with the straight edge heart punch from the “Heart Punch Pack”. I stamped the “Large Lacy” heart using Flirty Flamingo ink on a piece of scrap Whisper White and punched that out with the other heart punch from the pack that has a scalloped edge! You only get to see a tiny bit of the lacy heart, but I think it adds a nice touch. I adhered those two hearts together, then adhered them to one of the red “Heart Doilies” and added it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card by sprinkling on a few Rhinestones on to add a little bling!

Anniversary or a Wedding? Stampin Up!

Today’s card was made using the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (that you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration when you place a $50 order). I started with an Old Olive card base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. I layered it with a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock measuring 5 1/4 x 4, then layered a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of the Lily Impressions Designer Paper. I used a die from the Lily Pad Die set (that you can also earn for FREE during SAB when you place a $100 order) to cut a scrap piece of Melon Mambo to make the long strip of ‘petals’! I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Black Memento ink and the new So Sentimental stamp set! I cut out the sentiment using the Stitched So Sweetly die set. I finished it up by coloring a couple of Pearls using my Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ blend alcohol marker!

A Pretty Poppy card made using Stampin’ Up products!

Today’s card is simple but gorgeous, and we owe it all to the Designer Paper!!
I started with a Rich Razzleberry card base measuring 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. I layered a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper on a 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 piece of Old Olive cardstock. I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Crinkle ribbon around and tied it in a bow. I adhered it to the card base using Foam Adhesive Strips.
Blog -Rich Razz Poppy Card

I used Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set on to a 2 x 3 piece of Whisper White cardstock. I then cut the sentiment out using the Frame die from Painted Labels die set and adhered it to the card using a few dimensionals.
